Program Cancellations/Credits/Refunds

If a program or portion of the program is cancelled by the Y for any reason, participants will receive a program credit for the missed session(s). Credits are valid for 1 year from the date of issue. YMCA program credits may not be applied to membership.

Programs may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Every effort is made to inform participants of a program cancellation three (3) business days before the start date. Please check your email for updates.

A participant may cancel and receive a program credit by informing the Y program staff leader three (3) days or more prior to the session start. After this, if a participant chooses to not attend for any reason, a refund/credit will not be issued.

Weather-related cancellations: For weather-related program closings, the YMCA will make every effort to make up lost time/missed classes. If the participant is unable to attend the makeup, no individual refunds will be offered. If a makeup is not offered, a prorated credit will be issued to the participant’s YMCA account and can be applied to future programs excluding membership. Credit is valid for one calendar year.
