Join the YMCA Today

The Y is now open to help members get their health and wellness goals back on track. Rejoin the Y by September 30, 2020, and we'll waive the joining fee for people who canceled their membership during our temporary closure. That's a savings of up to $139!

A YMCA membership is your community connection to feeling great through programs that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. YMCA of Western North Carolina is a charitable organization committed to building communities that are healthy in spirit, mind, and body -- and that starts with a Y membership!

Here's what your membership includes (Please see Reopening Guide for Covid-19 Membership Updates):

Ready to get a Y Membership?

There are two ways to join the YMCA. Review our membership categories and rates, then choose the plan that works best for you!

  • Well-Being Membership: Make a 12-month commitment to your health and we'll lower monthly rate and waive the joining fee.

*Members ages 18 and older have an unlimited number of guest passes. Each member may bring one individual or family guest per visit. Guests may only visit the YMCA of Western North Carolina with an existing member for free three times per calendar year (Jan 1-Dec 31). Once a guest has used all three free visits, the guest (whether an individual or family), must either join the YMCA or buy a day pass. Day passes are $15 for an adult, $30 for a family or household.
