YMCA Expands Youth and Family Programs

safe kids

The Y is excited to offer new opportunities for kids to be kids, and for parents to get a break!

Drop-in childcare reopens

A valuable member benefit resumes March 1 when our Youth Development Centers reopen at four locations. Children ages 3-8 on household memberships can get up to two hours a day of nurturing playtime while their parent or guardian works out or relaxes at the Y.

Please click here to check your location for current YDC hours and health and safety protocols. Masks are required for everyone age 5 and up. Advance reservations are not required at this time, but occupancy is limited to promote safety.

Shoot, score, swim and more

Youth sports help kids stay active, learn new skills, and make new friends. Registration is now open for coed basketball and soccer clinics for children ages 4-12. Sign up here.

Prepare your child for safe fun in the water with Y swim lessons. And join us for open swim times to splash and play together!

And for you adults who want to play like kids again, the Hendersonville Family Y is starting a coed kickball league for grownups. Get your game on here.

Great summers start here

Kids deserve summer fun, especially after the year they’ve had. YMCA summer day camp mixes fun, learning, and physical activity in a safe, nurturing environment. Mark your calendar for Monday, March 1, when summer day camp registration opens for kids ages 4-15.

Financial assistance is available for all Y programs.
