Welcome Back to Where You Belong
Asheville, N.C., Sept. 8, 2020 – Today the Y is open for indoor fitness after more than five months, and we're very excited to see you again!
Because we care, we’re doing everything in our power to keep members and staff safe. That means you should expect precautions such as limited capacity, health screenings, frequent cleaning and disinfection, physical distancing, mandatory face coverings, upgraded air filtration, and more. Please see our Reopening Guide for details.
Starting today, five locations are open for indoor fitness – the Asheville Y, Black Mountain Y, Corpening Memorial Y, Hendersonville Family Y, and Reuter Family Y.
The Ferguson Family Y, the Y at Mission Pardee Health Campus and the Woodfin Y will begin offering indoor fitness on Monday, Sept. 14.
We know working out indoors or in person isn’t an option for everyone at this time, so please rest assured that our outdoor and virtual fitness offerings will continue.
Thank you for your patience as we ramp up our operations to serve you. Our hours will be limited initially, and we're hiring and training new staff. Over the next few weeks, we’ll add more services, always following the advice of public health officials. Please check Facebook, our mobile app and our Reopening Guide for the most current information.
The past few months have challenged our community – and our Y – more than anyone could have imagined. Thank you for staying with us. Your support has helped the Y survive, but more importantly, it has enabled us to serve those who need help the most. From feeding the hungry to caring for children, the Y is showing up thanks to you.
See you soon at the Y!
