Congratulations to the Piranhas Swim Team on another successful season!
The 2023 summer swim team season has come to a close. The Piranhas competitive swim team had an incredible season with many great swims and solid participation.
Highlights:

At the Senior State meet in July we won the small team State Championship for the third year in a row!

We resumed the Piranha-thon for the first time since the pandemic and raised funds for the team.

Liam Aleman became our first summer long course USA swimming junior national qualifier in 3 years. Only the top .003% of swimmers qualify for this meet nationally.

Taylor Goodwin qualified for multiple championship finals at the summer YMCA Nationals with a top finish of 4th in the 400 freestyle!

Pierce Hampleman became our first Paralympic swimmer to qualify for the YMCA Nationals.

Jasmit Kondal scored 14 points at the age group state champs in the 13-14 year old division

We added 3 new YMCA National qualifiers this summer; Meera Kondal, Jasmit Kondal and Julia Sherrill.
